THE STORY

A day in Lavaux

Vahide and Adrien said “I do” in Grandvaux, at the restaurant Tout un Monde, in an open-air secular ceremony facing the lake and the mountains. There were white drapes, parasols, a flower arch, and a great deal of laughter. We then took time for photos with their loved ones, and the three of us set off into the vineyards, right next door. I'll let you discover their day.

Secular ceremony facing the lake

Vahide arrived on a loved one's arm, between two white drapes, and Adrien could not take his eyes off her. They sat side by side, in front of their guests, on the terrace of Tout un Monde. What stays with me is their glances and their laughter: I only had to follow them. The restaurant presents itself on its website.

The rings, the kiss and the exit

A little boy stepped up to them, then came the rings, slipped on with great tenderness. The kiss, beneath the flower arch, ended in a burst of laughter. Then off they went, arm in arm down the aisle, amid applause and raised phones.

After the group photos in front of the arch, we went into the vineyards by the restaurant. Between the rows, with Lake Geneva and the Alps behind them, Vahide and Adrien had a moment to themselves, forehead to forehead. I love these quiet moments in the middle of a wedding day: they often give me my favourite photos.
