THE STORY

From Sévelin to Cully

Gemma and Jean got married in Lausanne, in the Sévelin wedding room. After the ceremony, we headed for Lavaux and lunch at the restaurant Tout un Monde in Grandvaux, facing the lake and the vineyards. In the evening, we took their couple photos in Cully, by the water, just before dinner at Le Major Davel. I'll let you discover their day.

The civil wedding at Sévelin

In Lausanne, the Sévelin wedding room is bright and very simple, with its white walls and daylight. Loved ones sit very close to the couple. I photograph the looks, the rings, the signatures, then the hugs. The room is presented by the Vaud civil registry.

Lunch at Tout un Monde

At the restaurant Tout un Monde in Grandvaux, the terrace looks out over the lake and the terraced vineyards. Between the champagne and the meal, Gemma and Jean gave me a few minutes. They kept their sunglasses on, tried a few dance steps and laughed a lot. These photos are full of sunshine.

At the end of the day, the light softens over Lake Geneva. In Cully, under the tall trees and then on the quay, Gemma and Jean danced, laughed and kissed, facing the mountains. The evening went on at the restaurant Le Major Davel.
